I have a requirement of installing samba 3.6.12-1 on IBM machine which is
having host operating system AIX version 6.1. Below were the packages I am
going to install on the system.
krb5-libs-1.8.3-3.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
samba-client-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
samba-winbind-devel-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
libiconv-1.14-2.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
samba-common-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
samba-winbind-krb5-locator-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
openldap-2.4.23-0.3.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
samba-doc-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm samba3.6.archive.tar
openssl-0.9.8m-1.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
samba-domainjoin-gui-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm zlib-1.2.5-1.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
popt-1.7-2.aix5.1.ppc.rpm
samba-winbind-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
samba-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
samba-winbind-clients-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
I am trying to install samba-common-3.6.12-1.aix6.1ppc.rpm first. I have solved
all the dependencies for this package except the one below.
(/software/samba3.6)> rpm -ivh samba-common-3.6.12-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
libwbclient.so is needed by samba-common-3.6.12-1
Please help me to find this package or how to resolve this dependency.
