Thanks for this, unfortunately I've tried this and it makes no difference. Below is from Cups error log, message is the same whether printer is RAW or set up as a Deskjet. Please note that the same problem occurs when I configure the printers via LPRng or Webmin. Again it doesn't matter whether its RAW or not.
Any other clues?
