Hi Fellows I have 4 samba servers running samba 2.2.4 , one is acting as a domain logon server for my windows 98 clients , and the other 3 are file servers. My clients have plain text passwords enabled, and the user accounts and passwords are in a NIS server .Everything is working fine this way , but now I want to encrypt my clients' passwords , Is there a way to make the NIS server manage the smbpasswd file?.
