I have been searching for a way to grant access to a Samba share based on the users NT
group.

Have I missed something simple.

I am using:

      security = DOMAIN
            encrypt passwords = Yes
            password server = *

I would like to say

[ashare]
      VALID USERS = @NTgroupname

or something similar. As I read the docs, this only works for UNIX groups.

Thanks
