I am running a redhat box connected to a DEC hsz40 scsi controller. Recently I upgraded the machine to Redhat 9 and recompiled the kernel to enable multiple scsi lun support. So far, so good. I can mount the 120gig scsi volume ok.

The problem now is the smbd.log is filling up with "Failed to setup RT_SIGNAL_LEASE handler" messages and when a network drive is mapped to the share pointing to this scsi volume (windows or linux connection), the drive shows to be 15 gig with no free space.

Samba version 2.2.7a-security-rollup-fix from Redhat.

Thanks,
