Hello !!! Can you help me ? I think i have a bug.
I have a NT Domain (named RA12) and I have just integrated a Samba such as a file server (not PDC and not BDC). CPD named SERVNT01. BDC named SERVNT02. Samba Server named SERVLINUX. My global parameters : security = domain password server = SERVNT01 (or *) domain logon = no domain master = no workgroup = RA12 Approximately, how to make to synchronize the Unix and WinNT accounts without Samba being neither PDC or BDC ?? Because in the HOW-TO manual we must write in a shell : # smbpasswd -j RA12 -r SERVNT01 -U Administrateur%password And I obtain like answer : Unable to Join RA12 : NT_ACCESS_STATUS_DENIED.
