Hello,
I've wasted hours to get working with samba, the debian stable package
is not able to do that.
The latest stable version of samba seems only to be able to do it when i set
my local to de_DE, well that is solved.

My real problem is that i tried to create a backup solution and replace the
ftp way using samba and rsync.
About 50gig are the files to be backed up, samba can find 2 gig, the rest is
not avaiable.
smb_proc_readdir_long: name=\MSQL2000\MSSQL\*, result=-13, rcls=1, err=5

smb_proc_readdir_long: name=\MSQL2000\MSSQL\*, result=-13, rcls=1, err=5
As example.
The directory contains no special sutff (6 directories), my kernel log is
full with such errors.
I'm running 2.4.21 kernel + grsec patches.

Anyone got an idea, i'd also be happy with an alternative to samba (rsync
'ported' to windows with cygwin is very unstable).

Anyone please help?
