You write use samba 2.2.7 best first choice as support is use last samba
build.
Backup your samba conf (SID passw and ...) and remove redhat sambas rpms.
Then download from samba ftp binary-package for redhat 7.3 samba 2.2.8a and
instal it.
Restore config and run.
