I am having trouble with on of my Samba Servers. The daemons don't seem to be responding. I know they are running. I can even see them listing when I do a netstat -a on my server.
However, when I do the following smbclient command I get the following error message. ./smbclient -U username -L servername ( I get the same error if I use a name,IP address, or local ) The username does exist created with smbpasswd -a I get this error message. session request to "Server name" failed (Call returned zero bytes (EOF) ) session request to *SMBSERVER failed (Call returned zero bytes (EOF) -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
