Simply yuo conf is ok but last step is join your samba to domain if this is not then user is not able access samba if is authorized be domain controler. Samba then works as standalone server and uses local user database(that your home works).
To join is two way on redhat try use command smbpasswd with parameters to join as describe man. Or in W2k PDC add computer to domain...
