I have an authentication problem with Samba 3.0RC2 and a Windows 2003 ADC. Setup: SuSE 8.2 with Heimdal Kerberos, Samba 3.0RC2 compiled from source with options "--with-ads --with-pam --with-acl-support". Setup according to Samba-HOWTO-Collection.html#ads-member.
Joining the domain succeeded, also the creation of the Adminaccount (net join -U Administrator) went fine. But a "net use * \\samba-server\public from the win 2003 server "adswintest" fails. log.adswintest yields: auth/auth_util.c:make_server_info(1017) make_server_info_info3: pdb_init_sam failed. Also accessing the windows server with smbclient -L //adswintest -k fails with session setup failed: NT_STATUS_OK Is this a compilation problem or a configuration issue?? -- Bernhard Riegel [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
