Anyway i have found a little workaround.....

now my smb.conf is :

comment = Home Directories
  path= %H/samba
       browseable = no
  writable = yes
  valid users = %s

and works correcty

smbclient '\\server\claudio' -U claudio

Into the logs i read...

'/home//samba' does not exist or is not a directory, when connecting to [claudio]



Our bug. Fixing it in cvs now.
