I�m trying to use Samba 3.0 with OpenLDAP as a PDC. Joining the Domain with a NT4 WS works fine, a machine Account is automatically created by Samba during the join process. After restarting the NT machine, the local netlogon process fails to start, and also some dependent processes, so no domain login is available. If i try to logon directly after the join process (without the restart) it works fine, all shares are available.
Has anyone heard of this before??

How did you create a Domain admin user to insert your workstation in the domain ? I'm still fighting on that and can't find any solution :(
