Hi, I want to enable the wins support on my Samba box, but as I read in multiple places it should be avoided to have 2 WINS-servers on one LAN.
How can I "scan" for an existing WINS-server? Does it have a distinct NETBIOS resource name? Couldn�t find something in my "Using Samba"-book. I am pretty sure that there is no WINS-server on my net, just want to know it for sure. Thank you, Stefan G.
