due to firewalling rules I need to make samba hence netbios work at different ports than standard. so intead of 137-140 I would need something like 937-940, which should work. What is the correct way of doing this? Is editing /etc/services enough, or must I add something to smb.conf? will the win2k clients correctly sense the port change or any registry changes needed there as well?
