Hi all,
I just upgraded my Samba 2.2.8a installation to version 3.0.0 using the RPM
distribution. Since I use RedHat 7.3 and find RPM a convenient tool, I
always use this to install software.

The upgrade (rpm -U) went fine, my smb.conf file did not change.
Unfortunately, after installation and rebooting the server, I was not able
to connect to the samba shares from my W2k and WXP clients anymore (it did
work!).

Has anyone have any experience with this problem? I really would like to
solve this and upgrade my system.

Thankx,
Alex
