David Lee rta: | I can't get the XP home edition on my network to accept "net use H: /home". | It works on my Win2000 box. I am running samba 2.2.5 | Is this a limitation on the home edition? Is there a work round? | The command | net user %username% /DOMAIN | for a valid username does return data which includes the path to the home | share, so I can't see why it should not work. | | | David Lee | | | The command:
net use somedrive: /home
works just on domain members, which could find the home share at logon procedure from Domain controler. (e)X(tra)P(rofit) home edition cannot be a domain member! So it has NO knowledge of home!
