Hi again,

one of "my" networks spans several subnets for some reason or the other. The
whole net is 192.168.0.0/21. I'd really very very much like if I could put
it like that into smb.conf (e.g. for hosts allow) instead of
192.168.0.0/255.255.248.0, especially since subnets tend to be added or
removed from time to time.
CIDR notation is shorter, removes the risk of accidentally having "holes" in
the netmask and IMHO is just less confusing.
