This is not normal, it is broken. It means you have added them. This is a problem. I recommend that you delete your group_mapping.tdb file, let samba re-create it, and then modify the mappings so that: Domain Admins == UNIX GID=0 group Domain Users == UNIX 'users' group Domain Guests == UNIX group 'nobody' You can create additional Domain groups as required.
