I don't get this error with Windows 98 clients only my Windows 2000 workstation. This work station can access all the hard drives offered by the samba server but has problems accessing the printers. When I try to open a printers property dialog box it fails.
I used to get a SAMR_Q_SET_USERINFO related error, but when I turned up the Samba log level to 3 the SAMR_Q_SET_USERINFO error was replaced by the error call_nt_transact_query_security_desc [timestamp] smbd/error.c:error_packet(94) error string = Operation not supported I'm running the version of samba that came with SuSE 9.0, samba 2.2.8a-SuSE. The server is also acting as the PDC. -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
