You can set the mangle prefix in your smb.conf, but this will again
change all the mangled names.  If you work with long filenames, you
should not do so from DOS :-).  If you work in DOS, remember to use
short names...

We use more of the name for name mangling due to major problems caused
by collisions in the previous system.
