Is this a problem with pam_winbind, or with Samba in general? Samba 3.0.2 has a much improved pam_winbind, which might assist. If not, please give me a level 5 debug log of winbindd, and I should be able to correct the mappings. (The issue is - I hope - that we don't tell pam that it is an 'must change password' situation correctly).
