[Samba] What is meaning of backup shere?

On my clear samba server installation I found /backup shere which points 
to /var/backup on my file system. It is readable to all users created on 
the serwer. In smb.conf I found no refereneces to it. Is this correct?

My system is: Debian Sarge (i686-pc-linux-gnu) with Samba 3.0.2-2 package
