We have the same problems here, too. ( suse9 rpms samba 3.0.2a from sernet and suse9 rpms samba 3.0.3pre1 from ftp.suse.com ) This occurs for all Canon image-runner-systems with canon ps drivers installed via point and print. If somebody needs more info, I am ready for it :-).
