No, you'd be seeing messages like bad magic 0x42424242 and the like if it were a tdb corruption problem. The message you listed is normal for Samba 3 print, not indicative of corruption. You can try turning up debugging on the server to see if anything looks unusual, and checking out the event viewer on the client.
