Hi,

Can you, and if yes, map PC 's IP and MAC addresses to a UNIX box running
samba. A user who has just had his PC changed can no longer mount his
directory on the UNIX box, he gets the message access denied from this
location. Everyone else is ok. When he tries it on another PC it works. I
have been told that a few months ago all the PC's were swapped out and users
had to call UNIX support and have individual PC's IP and MAC addresses
mapped to the UNIX box???

I have checked smb.conf and files it references and cannot find any ref. to
specific IP addresses.

Sorry if this is a bit vague but can anyone help??

Thanks,

Ben
