Hi,
after doing some more evaluating, I found some "socket options" in my smb.conf:
TCP_NODELAY SO_KEEPALIVE SO_RCVBUF=2048 SO_SNDBUF=2048 IPTOS_LOWDELAYE
I removed tham and .... now I have a good transferspeed :-)

Hi,
I don't think that this could be the problem, because if I copy the same files from the same client to the same server using netatalk on the server side or using scp gives me the same speed in both directions (+- 5 sec./100MB)
