hi,

i've a problem with a windos 98 client. there is one linux samba server an one single windows 98 client. as soon as the clinet logs on to samba a dmbd is forked which causes 100% cpu load.

as the level 10 logs are quite large and the ml does not allow mails of that size i've put them on a webserver:

http://www.mhcsoftware.de/smb/log.smbd
http://www.mhcsoftware.de/smb/log.nmbd
http://www.mhcsoftware.de/smb/log.norbert
http://www.mhcsoftware.de/smb/smb.conf

win98 machine name is NORBERT and the samba machine name is LINUX.

any suggestions ?
