Maybe check your /etc/samba/smbldap_conf.pm ?
If it is not there and you don't have your old /etc/samba/secrets.tdb, where the SID was stored, then you could be in trouble. So long as you still have the old /etc/samba/secrets.tdb you should be good to go. You could extract it from an old backup or something if need be.
If this doesn't work, you might also be able to make up a fake one just to satisfy the script.

| All Samba server's have a SID. The process will be the same whether you | are a standalone server or a PDC. Hope this helps.
