don't forget that home drives and profiles, might to be altert as well..
What problems can people see with this procedure:
1) Backup the home directory and profile directory 2) List all the groups of which that user is a member 3) Delete the account 4) Create a new account under the new name 5) restore home directory and profile directory into new user's account
Are there hidden nasties in the windows Registry that are going to ambush your user if this method is used?
