Hi all,

When trying to open a share on a samba server using OS/2's Workplace Shell I get a error message saying that no matching objects were found and the folder is closed immediately. The samba logfile shows:

[2004/07/13 17:44:12, 3] smbd/trans2.c:call_trans2findfirst(1355)
call_trans2findfirst: dirtype = 55, maxentries = 1, close_after_first=0, close_if_end = 0 requires_resume_key = 1 level = 0x3, max_data_bytes = 65523
[2004/07/13 17:44:12, 3] smbd/error.c:error_packet(134)
error packet at smbd/trans2.c(1372) cmd=50 (SMBtrans2) eclass=1 ecode=124

It looks like call_trans2find{first,next} don't handle SMB_INFO_QUERY_EAS_FROM_LIST anymore. This was working in samba 2.x. I tried to copy the code from the older version but failed. Is there any way to get this functionality back?

Thanks for any hint,
Frank.
