You will need to give us some information about the nature of the difficulty
you are facing.
I have Samba version 3.0.2a-3mdk with an LDAP backend. Works great but
I can't seem to get user manager for domains to work with it. I'm
thinking that perhaps it might be a samba bug that has probably since
been corrected. Can anyone validate this idea?

What sort of info would you like?
When I fire up usermanager, the first thing I get is "User Manager cannot be used to manage a Windows 2000 or higher domain. Do you want to select another domain to administer?" I then select Yes and get a list of users. Beyond that all I ever see from User Manager is "A device attached to the system is not functioning."
