Im using nmblookup from linux box to determine the IP of given of a machine from its netBIOSName. "nmblookup" seems to work find within a single subnet, but when looking up machines on different subnets I run into trouble. I have tried: Nmblook -B <subnet> netBIOSName, but that still does not help. Am I doing something wrong? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
