Hi folks, I've got a few machines that I want to setup winbind on, so they can auth their users against the AD win2k server I have here. On top of that, I want to map their home directories from one to a few others.

So, I'll need to make sure their user databases are in sync.

No problem, I thought, I'll just nfs map /var/cache/samba and be done with it.

Well, as it turns out, while the default build from the samba group is to put the winbind pipe in /tmp, the redhat series likes to stuff it in /var/cache/samba along with the database files. So, what I need to know is this: Is there a way to redirect that without having to recompile?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
