Nope. THis just means that the client is not running
the server service (or has the firewall enabled to drop
incoming connections).
There is a protocol bug in SP2 that causes smbd to crash.
This is what the patch fixes.
then 2.2.10 is not affected. I can print with or without the patch.
And:
The server service is running:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\tb>sc query lanmanserver
SERVICE_NAME: lanmanserver
TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS
STATE : 4 RUNNING
(STOPPABLE,PAUSABLE,ACCEPTS_SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)
CHECKPOINT : 0x0
WAIT_HINT : 0x0
But the included XP firewall is also running.
