Jerry!

My Samba stopped panicing, but refuses to authenticate. With default log level all I get is:

[2004/09/05 15:37:17, 0] auth/auth_util.c:make_server_info_info3(1122)
 make_server_info_info3: pdb_init_sam failed!

I found your reply from linuxforum.com about some winbind patch, but don't know what to do with it.

I see all users with getent passwd / group and it has worked fine before... any ideas?

Hi!

My Samba setup broke after upgrading Samba from 3.0.5-1 to 3.0.6-3 using Debian apt-get upgrade. It seems to me, that the problems lies within winbind. Any help would be appreciated!
