Hi, i am not exactly clear what you try to do wanna a pdc? then entries like this in /etc/nsswitch.conf may help you out passwd: ldap files group: ldap files shadow: ldap files
then use yast to adjust the machine as ldap client Regards
well, I don't really trust yast as it just written my LDAP password to /etc/ldap.conf in clear text with permission to read it by everybody.
how can I do it manually?
