I've tried out the registry patch. I'm now able to run kde applications like konqueror. But I can't start the kde display-manager via startx oder kdm. Startup still hangs. I don't get any error messages in the console I typed startx. How can I find the problem? Is there any way to log every fileoperation kde is doing in linux?
