Here is my set up:

recycle:exclude = *.tmp *.temp *.~??
recycle:excludedir = /tmp /temp /cache
recycle:maxsize = 0
Recycle directory:
drwxrwxrwx 2 root itWinners 4096 Nov 18 11:36 .recycle
The problem is that nothing is going into the .reycle directory. What have I
missed?
