Don't have tried with W2000, but with W2003, here's what I do :
- Add a new user with the name of the W2003 domain plus a $ (eg :
domain$) with a password.
- modify the ACCOUNT FLAG in the LDAP entrie for this "user" : set it to
I (instead of U).
- then I add the trust relationship on the W2003
