Hey their James, I am using samba at work on my network with our accounting software package ( accpac). have up to 15 people in it at once an it works pretty good. this past upgrade we did few months ago made things bit slower but it has preformed well for us for several years. I had to set oplocking off for the database files for access an the database files for the accounting software do not have the smb.conf in front of me at moent here at home But I can shoot you what I have in it in morning. You will more then likely have to veto oplocks for yours also but not sure. willl shoot you message tomorrow off list with my smb.conf info for trhe share I have for the package.
