Hello everybody,

I have a simple setup with 2 linux-machines (server/client). When I want to execute "touch testz" on the smbfs mounted samba-share I have to wait 30 seconds until the file is created. It sounds like a typical dns-timeout problem, but I dont know where.... I put already both machines in the /etc/hosts ...

a copy of the server-side logfile (log level = 10), I marked the delay:
