You have to back up the old tdbs. That's why this is a non-production release :-) | I want that our users test the new version. I don't understand why 'rpm -Uvh --oldpackage samba-XXX.rpm && /bin/cp -p /var/lib/samba-backup/* /var/lib/samba/' is not a valid solution? Why do you have to modify any packaging ?
