though this might not be the solution you have been asking for: KIXTART
(http://www.kixtart.org) as logon script might work to solve your
intention. Because you e.g. can look which machine your users log on
from, what's the name of the logon-server and many others. In case
kixtart is useful for you I might give you my scripts (pls. send PM).
