The global settings of smb.conf are encrypt passwords = yes workgroup = PROXML security = share netbios name = PROSERVER os level = 20 netbios aliases = ProXML server server string = Samba Server %v wins support = true domain master = yes local master = yes preferred master = yes name resolve order = lmhosts hosts deny = all Here only PROSERVER is used. Where do the two other names come from and how can I suppress those? I'm on Mandrake 9.2.
