Of course, there's still plenty of software that doesn't have MSI
installers.
...and the links you gave are fine, but you can't assume everyone is
installing English language version of these applications... :)
In that case, I use WPKG for all MSI and non-MSI installers (exe etc.)
- http://wpkg.org - which works with Samba (and Active Directory too).
One of these days I'm going to give WPKG a try...
