What advise would people have on using setting up a
storage area network to store user files on. This SAN
would be used by some linux clients directly but
primarily by a samba pdc. I was going to use nbd or
enbd. I know that these are for direct control of the
harddrive partition so the clients are out if i do
that. However nfs seems to be the best for what i
need. My Problem is also figuring how I would export
the directories to the samba servers and the few linux
clients. Should i do it per user or the whole /home
directory? Not this is a large SAN separated into
groups and user folders on multiple servers. Please
Help!
