It is hard to tell anything from an the un-annotated network capture. I was hoping something might stick out... I probably won't chase this any further, but as a suggestion on how to read the captures, I often capture in ethereal with 'update packets in real time', and note the packet sequence number when error messages (or success) appears on the client. You can then start comparing, and looking for 'last error packet' etc. Andrew Bartlett -- Andrew Bartlett http://samba.org/~abartlet/ Samba Developer, SuSE Labs, Novell Inc. http://suse.de Authentication Developer, Samba Team http://samba.org Student Network Administrator, Hawker College http://hawkerc.net
