That doesn't seem to make any difference here. ACLs and extended attrs are
loaded, but tweaking the hidden bit in samba still just causes the regular
execute bit to be modified. lsattr and getfacl show no other changes.
I did forget one part... Your smb.conf needs to have:
store dos attributes = yes
