i hope you didn't use a AD on the W2003 servers. changing the IP address of 8 windows 2003 servers wil give lots of problems on the windows servers.
i suggest, check your eventlogs for the servers did you run dns on linux or on windows, if windows, you are getting more in troubles... and give more detailed explanation.
